As everyone knows, our small community was heartbroken in January 2008, when news spread about the brutal kidnapping and murder of Mr. Willie Lee Morgan, age 94, in Hamblen County. Mr. Morgan had been associated with the Noahs Arc program for many years. Shortly after his tragic death, Noahs Arc was given possession of his 3 dogs by a family member. We are happy to report that one of his dogs has been placed in a loving home; however, dogs Kyle and Willie remain in rescue seeking new homes. Kyle is a shepherd mix, approximately 2 years old and Willie is a full red/white Austrian Shepherd, approximately 11 years old. Kyle is very open and friendly while Willie is more reserved. Since rescue, Kyle and Willie have been housed separately so each can be adopted to different homes. Both are considered outdoor pets, as to our knowledge, neither have been housed indoors. If anyone would like to meet either of these dogs for placement, or for more information, please contact us. Also, if you would like to make a monetary donation in memory of Mr. Morgan the donations will be used for food, housing and vet care for Kyle and Willie while they remain in our rescue.
