Description
Please meet Willie Dee. Dee is a walker hound that was found on the side of a road in a deserted community. When Dee was seen on the roadside, it was obvious that he was injured and had been hit by a vehicle. Sadly, upon examination, Willie Dee had a gunshot wound in the right rear leg. This poor dog was in terrible shape. His chest and undercarriage was covered in road rash, his rear leg was beyond repair, and he tested heart worm positive. This fellow had a long road of recovery ahead of him - however, he endured all obstacles and has made a great recovery. Dee's leg has been removed he has completed heart worm treatment. He seems to be doing well with the missing limb, and he tells us the best thing of all is that he does not hurt anymore. Willie Dee is a very sweet boy; just look at his face! He is vet aged at 6-7 years old. He is a charming dog with a forgiving personality and loves everyone. He longs to be loved. Just a simple hello to Dee makes his heart glow! Dee has done well with his amputation, as well as heart worm treatment. Dee is seeking a loving home where he will never have to worry about being lost, neglected, and abused ever again. Noahs Arc will continue to cover the expense of Willie Dee's vetting if needed, however, we are hopeful to place him in a loving home as soon as possible so he can receive all the TLC that we simply cannot provide in a rescue setting.
