General Purpose of Job
Machines parts complete from drawings or sketches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities described below are subject to management discretion and may be changed at any time based upon corporate need or reasonable accommodation. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor of this position.

* Performs complete setup, programming, and machining on a specific machine example ( CNC lathe & CNC Mill) or all machines located in the Tool & Die Machining Department.
* Machines parts complete from drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions to close tolerances (.005mm) with minimal supervision.
* Works with Tool & Die Machining Department Manager to improve machine set up time and machining efficiencies.
* Completes all required tracking records for processed charts by JOB BOSS or if a shop router is not attached Manual Tracking on a time sheet and turned into Tool & Die scheduler every Monday morning.
* Responsible for training CNC Machinists Trainees.
* Assists in on-the-job-training (OJT) of other associates in the Tool & Die machining area.
* Support of team members to achieve team goals (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale).
* Full support of 5S5T program.
* Complies with applicable Exedy America Corporation policies and procedures

Education and/or Experience

§ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* Forklift Experience required.
* Minimum (3) years experience on a specific machine.
* Minimum (4) years experience in a Tool & Die machine shop environment.
* Must be able to program manually and with CAD/CAM.
* Completes own setups.
