General Purpose of Job
Responsible for all performance aspects of assigned processes for the life of the manufacturing lines so that manufacturing plans can be met and exceeded.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities described below are subject to management discretion and may be changed at any time based upon corporate need or reasonable accommodation. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor of this position.

* Reduction of defects
* Output improvements
* Efficiency improvement.
* Operator, Supervisor, and Mfg. Tech training.
* Data collection and the direction of such activities.
* Fixture, jig, and Tooling design and review.
* Process document conception, review, or changes.
* Provide reports on projects and schedules.
* Communicate activities to Manager, other engineers, and Executives.
* Confirm safety aspects of processes.
* Assist with machine run offs, purchasing, and set up.
Education and/or Experience
* B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related degree is required.
* Skilled in CAD design.
* Must have good written/verbal communications skills
* Project management skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong leadership skills with team focus.
* Must be familiar with personal computers with working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel preferred) and word processing (MS Word preferred).
